How it works: Subscriptions

The Avansu Billing and Operational Support System (B/OSS) software was developed to provided a service for our customers (SaaS), and not as a product for sale. When Fire4 System architects began developing the Avansu v.2 system many of our WISP customers said that they did not want the cost of a software investment: instead they asked us to provide the software as a service so that they could pay for it as an operating expense. We listened to our customers and the result is the Avansu software subscription service.

During the Beta II phase, our customers can have free accounts with the complete B/OSS functionality. Customers pay only for access codes consumed. The production Avansu B/OSS system will be launched in January 09 and then subscribers will be divided into Tier-1 and Tier-2.

Tier-1 subscribers will continue to enjoy free accounts, however functionality will be limited to billing. Many of our current subscribers will be extremely satisfied with the free Tier-1 features.

Tier-2 subscribers will be charged a small fee and will have access to the complete suite of B/OSS features.
